Block out this date!!

Ok, its that time again, I cant delay this any longer!

Once again, we will be offering active classes on digital imaging and printing. Each class will consist of not only discussion on a specific topic, but then hands on printing of files on our printers to cement the discussion and get you out fo your chairs.

Uwe Steinmueller Uwe Steinmueller will be our guest speaker this time and brings an amazing wealth of real world knowledge, creative zest and profound understanding of the digital photographers workflow. Both Uwe and his wife Bettina are published and well respected landscape photographers with several books to their credit. Uwe has created, hosts and mentors 2 of the most popular websites for digital photographers and printers, OutbackPhoto.com and OutbackPrint.com. I have known Uwe for several years and find him engaging, enthusiastic and exteremly passionate about his craft. One of those rare beings with an overdeveloped brain on both the analytical and creative sides. There is much to learn from Uwe, definetly more than 3 classes worth, but these will get the ball rolling.

Each Seminar will be broken into 2 parts with the morning session focusing on discussion, going over the techniques & processes for the day. The afternoon part will be focused on printing files out using various media types and how all this plays out. Hopefully this will help dispell at least part of the mystery of color printing & help get you closer to printing what you see. We have many printers to choose from and all these techniques are universal in application, so whether you have a $99 desktop or a large format production printer, it all works the same.

For those that do not know how we work, this is not a sales pitch to get you to buy a printer. ( I do those for free!) Anyone doing creative digital work is adjusting images and at some point has to print them out. So, whether you’re proofing & sending out to a bureau or actually producing those prints yourself, having a better understanding of the process is vital.  We live and breathe these printers and have helped hunderds (thousands?) of people get better color. We use these ourselves, know the pitfalls, the frustrations and as well as some great ways of making your life easier (at least in this dept).Your questions & input are important to this process.

You are welcome to bring in files or samples of your work to review and possibly work with (depends on the time we have). Worse case, we can always schedule a time to come back and work one on one.

All events are being limited to 40 people.
Classes will run from 9:30 to 12:00, break for lunch, then go hands on from 1-3:30

Costs for each class are $29.95, or $75.00 for the suite of 3.

As part of the signup, all Uwe’s e-books will be 40% off
